Broiler Feed

Broiler feed is simply a mixture of grains, vitamins, and minerals, broiler feed is produced to meet the daily nutritional requirements of broiler chicken. The nutritional requirements of broiler chickens vary at different ages of their growth and development.

Components

  • 1. Protein
  • 2. Energy
  • 3. Vitamins and Minerals
  • 4. Amino Acids
  • 5. Fats and Oils
Stages Aligned with Chicken Growth Phases

Starter Feed (0 to 2 Weeks)

Protein 21-22% to support rapid growth and develop strong muscles and organs in young chicks.

Grower Feed (3 to 4 Weeks)

Protein 20-21%, slightly reduced from the starter phase, supporting continued growth and development.

Finisher Feed (5 weeks to market)

Protein 19-20%, focused on energy for weight gain and fat deposition while ensuring efficient
growth.

Layer Feed

Layer feed is a specially formulated type of animal feed designed for laying hens (chickens raised for egg production). The nutritional needs of layers differ significantly from those of broilers because their primary goal is egg production rather than rapid weight gain. Layer feed supports the hens' egg-laying process, overall health, and egg quality.

Components

  • 1. Energy (Carbohydrates and Fats)
  • 2. Calcium
  • 3. Phosphorus
  • 4. Amino Acids
  • 5. Vitamins and Minerals

Breeder Feed

Breeder feed is specially formulated for breeding poultry (such as hens and roosters) that are kept for the purpose of reproduction. Unlike layer or broiler feeds, which focus on egg production and meat growth respectively, breeder feed is designed to support the health, fertility, and reproductive performance of breeding birds.
It ensures that both the male and female birds have the necessary nutrients to produce viable eggs, maintain good health, and support successful hatching.
